anyone actually compared the ole spider type reflectors to, lets say lumen max elites? just wondering. thinking about upgrading.

Yeah I saw one somewhere on the net. But speaking from experience the LME are awesome! I'm getting some major par 22in through water plus 8pm of air!

It was a comparison of Batwings vs LME vs Lumanarc vs Lumanbrites..

The basic jist was

Batwings: Way too much light bleed
Lumanmax Elite: Great par, not so great coverage
Lumanarc: Great coverage, terrible PAR
Lumanbrites: Great PAR, tends to spotlight
