Par meter anyone?

OK stupid question. How does the Par Meter work? Do you place it in the tank or remove the light and test it on "dry land"? Thanks.

Hopefully the one the club has is the kind you place it in the tank, you can take measurements form different depths etc.

yup you just turn it on and place the magic wand in the water at various levels and it'll read the PAR.
