Ok first time testing everything. We use an API test, I know, I know but here are the results:
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 0 ppm
Ammonia: .25 ppm? Maybe 0
Ph: 8
Cal: 500 ppm
dKH: 8 dKH
Phosphates: 0 ppm
Salinity: 1.027
Everything looking good or what??? We arent sure what we should aim for with the chemistry. Thanks.

Yes we have Chaeto in our sump.

Specific gravity is a tad high. Most keep it around 1.024.

Take a water sample to your nearest sponsor and they should help you with the testing as well, compare results with different test kits and have them tell you what should be the range in parameters and wich are critical to keep on check, wich will escalate and give you problems long term and wich is less important due to the demands of your tanks
