Ok, so i just did my weekly water test and these are the results
Ph 8.2
Ca 500 ppm
Alk 2
Phosphate nitrate nitrite ammonia all 0
What would be the best step. A water change? My salinity is 1.027 and i dont have and rodi to top off with. My alkalinty is really low and calcium is high. Which is odd because my calcium is usually low and alk is usually high....:confused2: Help please?

Without maintaining proper mag levels your cal and Alk can go nuts on you. I would not do anything until you see where your mag levels are. Should be around 1350.

Dosing for Alk and Cal when you don't know your mag can cause an imbalance. Then you end up dosing tons of stuff and it just keeps getting worse. Trust me, know you mag is good should be the first thing you look at before chasing numbers on the other two.

Don't worry over numbers , high calcium over time causes low alk , I'd look at mag like the above posts say , and get some water and do a water change. Changing water is never unhealthy , and your salinity is a bit high , do you have ato or do you just give it a re up every day ?
I only ask because if you don't have ato it can swing a bit more.
The ocean is 1.026 or 35ppt that's also where they say nems do best but iv found that stability is the best thing.
A lot of reef keepers keep there water at 1.024-26 .
A tip for non ato - aim to keep it stable at 1.024-25 so if you loos water due to evaporation it won't creep that high again
