Paying It Forward and then some

Just wanted to give a BIG shout to Texhorns98(Trey). He represents what the heart of reefkeeping is all about! Met him for the 1st time today and boy did he pay it forward with some super corals! He went above and beyond with what he did for me. Motitvated me to do a better job with my Reef tanks and keep these corals flourishing! He is "Top Shelf". With ARC members like him, how can anyone ever fail.......Thanks

Hey David,

Thanks for the shout out, it was a pleasure spending some time with you. I hope everything adjusts well in it's new home. That scroll is a slow grower, but the stunner chalice and frogspawn are pretty quick to get moving and so are those watermelons. Don't curse me in six months when you're having to mow that anthelia "lawn" though!

Love seeing posts like this. Great thing you did there Trey. Allen, I couldn't agree more with you about Dylan. That guys had helped me tremendously. While I am sure the list of members of such high quality could go on and on, I would also like to acknowlede a couple. WMBoots, helped me get started with corals in a "Pay It Forward" thread many months ago. Gave me some great stuff that was easy to care for (thereby nurturing my interest). Unfortunately, his tank later crashed but it gave me the opportunity to repay him by offering frags of anything I had in my tank. Yesterday, Jaycen B. hooked me up with some great stuff as well. Guy literally told me to pick anything in his tank!!!! Also, not long ago, The-Bubonic-One had a new member incentive where he gave away 4 very nice frags to anyone joining ARC for the first time. People like this are top of the heap in my book.
