PC Light not coming on

I bought a used coralife hqi/pc/moon light combo lamp (150w/65wx2). It didnt come with pc lights. I put in all new bulbs and go to turn on the lights. The pc's dont come on and doesnt make any noise. Is the ballast bad? A quick google left me where I started. Any help is appreciated!

The ballast was 29 bucks bud. I'll replace it. I asked in a earlier thread

Its fine bud! Do you think (or know) if its the ballast?

I asked the forum the day you asked me and they said it sounded like it. Unless a wire is lose or shorting

I assume the possiblity of something not working when bought used. I just hope for teh best and expect the worst! that way its always a win! But for a $550 light and what I paid for it, im not complaining!

I am having then same problem with a similiar set up. Is it an internal ballast?

Odds are its the ballast. If you are not fimilar with them I would advise having some else replace it as they can be dangerous.
