About a month ago I purchased 4 peppermints to try as aptasia control, Tonight I come home from work and find a hundred or so what look to be super tiny shrimps swimming along the glass and blowing around the tank. It would be cool if any survive the feeding frenzy goin on in the tank right about now...

I Have Several Of Those Mini-Shrimps As Well. Don't Kniw If Theyre Peppermints Though... I See Several Mini-Molts Floating Around The Tank Every Morning. Hope It Doesnt Become An Issue.

They're Only Seen When The Lights Are Out And Ide Imagine Theyre Impossible To Catch... Nothing A Triple Six Cant Handle If Things Get Out Of Hand.

Peppermints do spawn, but you are probably seeing amphipods. Both are fine - and become food for other creatures in your tank.

There's no danger of being "overrun".

I wish my wrasses hadn't cleaned me out (well, between the wrasses and the tank crash.....). If you can catch some I'd love to drop 'em into my sump to replenish my colony.

interesting... i want some TOOOO!!! lol just cause barbara does i want want to :P

Ill have to take a look again tonight and see if any survived. After about 20 minutes they all but vanished, either into the live rock or into some hungry bellies...
