Not sure what my plan is for this yet but here’s where I’m at so far.

Built a custom dolly for tank to make my life easier. Cleaned the tank out and started removing silicone. Also started sanding down the stand.

Be careful... reefing is addicting, soon you’ll want an even bigger tank. Looks like a fun project.

Finally got this thing plumbed and running. It ran all night with no leaks thankfully. This was my third try.

I hear the 3rd time's a charm! I hope it continues to perform well! I missed you initial post and it looks like you've not only got a good setup but you've also got the confidence to get in there and make it work, good stuff! The Octo skimmer is worth it and they hold their value pretty good & they're really popular so getting replcement parts is no big deal if needed.

Looking for some low maintenance coral suggestions for beginners.

Mushrooms, most palys and zoas, green star polyps if kept on thier own rockwork. Hammers and duncans can be easy. There really is alot out there for just starting out. Just take your lighting and flow into consideration.
