Not sure what this is but I killed it as a precaution.

Looks like a sort of eunicid worm from a distance. If that’s true, then they’re bad. Will need a better shot to verify.

I don’t believe this is a baby eunicid worm... but good observation.

I’ve definitely seen these guys before, I just can’t recall exactly what it was. But if memory serves, it’s not a bad pest. Just another micro-critter that helps keep the tank clean.

but my memory could be wrong. Somebody will find it and respond soon. If not, I’ll do a little research later and find it for you.

The head really looks like a eunicid worm to me, but @ActiveAngel knows his stuff.
