Well I have a JBJ rimless 30g that should be here on Friday. Lighting will be the JBJ unibody 54w dimmable led. It will be stocked with Manado live rock paired with Caribsea AragAlive Fiji pink sand.

Now, here is where the great ARC community comes in. I want to hear as many unique/cool specimens that would be awesome in my tank.

Right now the only fish set are some form of clownfish and a Yasha goby/pistol combo.

Let's hear what you all think I should stock my tank with. Some may actually pique my interest enough to go with what you choose.

Thanks all.

I was leaning more towards whale shark...Go big or go home.

Edit: Also, the dimensions are 23.6/19.7/16.5 to give you an idea of the swimming space.

Yellow assessor and neon goby. I have both in my 93. The goby cleans fish and the assessor is just neat with a fun personality.

Those guys are beautiful, but don't decompress well. They come from deep water, and a lot of the divers don't bring the fish up slowly enough. The ones that are properly cared for do well, but you have a 50/50 chance on how the diver cared for the fish.

-Flaming Prawn Goby
-some sort of Flasher Wrasse
-Bluespot Jawfish
-some sort of small vivid angelfish
-neon dottyback

Plus they need a larger tank.

Awesome suggestions guys. Jenn from Imagine and myself have been bouncing ideas off one another to narrow down what I want compared with what I have. She said that around 5 fish max, and I tend to agree.

So far the for sures are:
--Clown or clown pair (just do not want the pair becoming overly aggressive, maybe adding them last will combat this.
--Yasha goby w/ pistol shrimp

From what has been mentioned I am interested in these.(not saying im getting all of them)

-Definitely an angel, possibly Flame (but it is on the cusp of being too large)
-Midas Blenny (however I am afraid it will not be hospitable with the Yasha
-Neon Goby (but once upon a time a wise member named Mojo told me that they are very difficult to keep alive and are more suited for the wild)
-Flasher Wrasse, probably gonna get one of these just gotta narrow which one down.
-Yellow Assessor, beautiful fish if I can find the right price.

Keep the suggestions coming guys. I really appreciate all of the help.

Bicolor Blenny or Tailspot Blenny.

Not rare, but do have some personality (as much personality as you can expect from a fish). I love my Bicolor Blenny. He has an interesting relationship with my other two fish where they swim up against him and he just shows his side in their face to says "whats up".

Not sure on their compatibility with Yasha goby, but mine hangs out in the rocks, not the sand.

I have also heard that Neon Gobies are hard to keep. If you want a small goby look at the clown gobbles. I have had a few different colored ones through the years and they have done well.

Clown gobies are awesome too...BUT I have heard they like to nibble on sps (or some kind of coral) haha. They are definitely lookers though, I love the green ones.

I wish I could find a Mandarin that ate prepared foods. Those and yellow tangs are my two favorite fish...

So if anyone knows about any new techniques of feeding Mandarins without starving them in smaller tanks, PLEASE let me know.

Have the bottle pods shown to be effective? They had just started hitting the market when I exited and people were getting mixed results from them.

It is my favorite fish by far, and I do not want to slowly starve it.

I have heard good things about Reef Science Plankton and I am thinking about ordering some.

I just use them to boost my numbers ocasionally. I notice a significant difference in population after a couple days.

That it is might, mighty tempting. They are just beautiful fish.

Could they withstand strong currents, say from a MP10?

Also, with the reef science plankton- Could I just buy a few bottles to essentially seed my tank or would I need to feed them through a tube of some sorts

I had a Biocube with a 2 Mp10s and a Mandarin who i got to eat Brime and them Mysis. took a little training over and over
