Thought I'd share some pictures from my 100 gallon mixed reef. This one gets put on the backburner, but there are some colorful critters in there.

Sexy corals signature Anemone. The only thing from this Seller I think is worth buying, although I did not buy it from him. Paid a good bit less. Focus not good and PAS Digi camera.

Space Invaders Pectinia. Softball sized Coony. WWC sold me their first frag from Jason Fox and got another for their mother colony. Got some percs living in it. Colony is about grapefruit size.

Jawbreaker Mushroom. Lost the mother, but she left two babies, and one just had another baby.

I just got it from Rit a few days ago.....these were all over the place 10+ years ago. I like them, but you eto keep an eye on them. If stressed, they ae supposed to puke their guts out and nuke the tank. Not sure how much of this is true and how much is reef myth? Incredibly colorful critter for the money. Optimum has one for $49 I saw the other day.

and what a mess that looks like it would be, that thing looks plump and juicy and ready to blow :wow2: Can we get a full tank shot? I only knew of you having the one tank, i know people are nuts about sps but i swear since i started in this hobby 3 month ago, i see so many neat looking and very colorful coral that are not sps.

From what I have read, it can secrete toxins that kill fish when injured or stressed. Corals are apparently not affected. Main thing is to not put it in a tank with fish that will pick at its tentacles.

And you must keep it well fed.

I love the Jaw Breaker and the Space Invader!

What lights are you hanging over that tank? If one of those clowns ever knocks off a piece of that space invader, send me a PM :D

Leave it to Rich to admire another man's bare bottom.

Nice tank, David! :D

Sounds like you're doing a fine job "watching it"! Just making an observation, is all!

Wow, that Space Invader looks happy. Looks like you have it placed close to the bottom, does it get much flow?

I have a 2-eye Space Invader placed in the middle of the tank with pretty strong flow.......been trying to find a "happy zone" for it.

Awesome collection Dave!

I have two Radion Gen1s with TIR Lenses. I am using a program from Ecosmart live called Radiant mode. It emphasizes the colors of corals, rather than a high par value (read more blues and less whites). I tried to frag the Space Invaders once and the frag didn't make it.

The reason I have what was WWC's original mother colony of the Space Invaders is that I ordered a frag through WWC when they first came out, and Jason was then selling his corals through WWC. Jason tried to frag his colony for me twice and both frags died, so WWC set me theirs since it had been a month since I ordered it, and they got another later.

The entire SI colony is growing on a frag plug, and is about 3-4 inches off the bottom in the center of the tank, and the colony itself is about 5-6 inches tall. Flow in the tank is medium, an MP40 set at about 30%. I found that any more flow would be bad for my euphyllias.

Here is a pic of the SC anemone from the seller I bought it from. This pic is pretty good, much better than mine.
