Nothing weird, just run a kalk reactor. I dont really "feed" the hard corals much of anything.

I purchased these corals about 2 years ago. They were all 1" frags. (sps).

Nothing exceptional really: just skimm well, run t5s and keep up with water changes about a third of the time haha.

I've been dosing Elos Amino Acids for a lil while, but no ZEO or anything. That being said I am running a BubbleKing Mini200 on my 120 display, so I expect that I'm near ULNS at least just from that.

Again nothing complicated or expensive. Just time and diligence.

I actually took them with a Rebel T1i. I used macro setting on the camera, and used a macro lens. No flash, all tank lights on.

The Macro lens is a big plus the problem is cost. A good lens with bells and whistles will be +$250

BUT they are SOOO useful. The actual lens these pics were taken with is the Canon EF-S 55-250mm.

Its a decent zoom lens with macro ability.. so u can take macros from a long way off

just keep in mind that all T5 fixtures ARE NOT CREATED equal.

If you're going to do sps I would recommend at LEAST what I have in the Constellation by Aquactinics. If you have the $ then go for the ATI power module. These units have high quality individual reflectors, active cooling, and quality components. I'm sure there are other brands out there, but I just know what is working in my particular situation.
