So my Pinpoint started reading "1 . " today as my pH - I am assuming this is an error message, but I can't find anything about it.
Anyone some insight for me?

My guess: either your probe is dead or the controller is dead. I had Pinpoint pH controler that lasted 15 years before it died. I had to replace the probes regularly but the controller part was solid.

Well,

either one is dead - no doubt, but quite a difference to toss a probe or a controller, haha

All probes are interchangeable...
I might have to get back to this offer - I just can't figure out what happened.

I can deliver in the AM with your other item. Just let me know.

Not recommending you toss either, of course. Do the probe test and you'll have your answer. When my controller died, I decided instead of spending $200 on another Pinpoint unit, I'd spend $279 and get an RKL Level 3 since you got so much more for just an additional $80.

Sent a message to American Marine at about 6pm today, asking for this error message.
Lou (I have dealt with him before with my CA monitor) answered already - most likely a dead probe...
Barry - may I borrow yours for a test?
