Plate coral having issues

A plate coral we just bought at the garage fest was doing fine until yesterday, now it seems to be retracting and in a strange state.

Is there something wrong? We're less than 2 months into the hobby and just gaining experience.

I've never had great luck with plates myself however if it does die - do not throw out the skeleton. In my experience - babies will usually sprout from it after a while
