Pls Help

I'm an amateur with lighting but I typically am using 4X 10k 54 watt T5s with 2X 420 actinic blue 54 watt t5s on my 120 gal. For the past few weeks I have been running 3 of each and the coral seems to be doing well and I like the look of it so I may stick to this, I will probably get slower growth but the extension seems better and the colors are prettier of course. One really cool feature about LEDs is they can add more of a shimmer to the tank, I get this at night when my moon light blue LEDs are the only things burning.

Coral has an amazing ability to adapt to different lighting. Par is important, an with out adequate levels, corals will suffer. There are many ways to get the appropriate par. On my 210, I have t5s and one my 93, I have LEDs. Both tanks will support coral.

If you need to save up to buy a fixture, I have some twin tube 36" standard florescent fixtures that you are welcome to borrow, or have, but under one condition .... Become a paid member. The bulbs are old, so I wouldn't count on them to grow much or anything, but if they can sustain the stuff you have until you get another light, it may be worth it.
