Hey all,
Thinking of setting up a 16 gallon frag tank, I was wondering, I have 2 dosers. Questions are: 1) is doing a water change between the two an effective means of nutrient transport? 2) What would be a better way regardless of equipment needed? Thanks for any suggestions!

If your question is aimed at balancing water exchanges using two (2) separate dosers? Such as one in (new water) and one out (old water), this may not be the best solution.

Usually a dual head peristaltic pump, with both heads (pump heads) running off of the same shaft.

Kamoer makes a good one, according to the reviews

A better, more accurate, solution is to buy a used lab grade dual head version such as Masterflex though they can be expensive.

😐
I knew it couldn’t be that easy. So 2 Versa’s wont accomplish the same thing? Is it synchronization?
That is exactly 👍 the issue.
I have installed 3 way recirculating valves between input & output on the same pump and gotten the flows very close. In essence tuning the flow. The problem is that we have things in the water which adhere/deposit within the valve and eventually affect the flow.

Dual head peristaltic pumps are the way to go. I prefer the used Masterflex dual head lab grade versions myself. They are really well designed & built!

OK, so no cheap way out. Guess I’ll keep that space for my quarantine tank. But thanks for reminding me to do maintenance on my AWC waste line. Thanks for the good advice.
