Hey fellow reefers, Ian looking to add some pods to my 75g mixed reef. My question is where do you guys/gals recommend I can get a good mix of different pods types locally?

I wanted to ask a question about this, so instead of starting a new thread thought I would hijack this one...
When do you start to add pods or planks?
When adding them, do they self sustain; meaning that is it a continual dose?
Currently my tank is about 4 months old, looking great.... but want to ensure I am creating the optimum environment.
Do you still run the filter socks?
I have a algae scrubber that I have not plumbed in yet, spoke to a few people who said wait for 6 months before firing that up...
