Tonight was an interesting night for fish poo.

We began by laughing at our dragon goby going WAY up to the top of the tank to poop on a powerhead that was turned off for feeding. We figured he didn't realize that no matter how high he got, he'd still wind up eating it later on the sand.

Then I watched a fairy wrasse take a huge número dos that looked Exactly like sea lettuce. Guess he didn't digest it, kinda like people and corn.

And, the crowning achievement for tonights adventures in fish poo: I occasionally put frags with h.a. on them in the display for our tang to eat. He didn't really dent the last one, but it had gotten pretty long. Well, now I know he tried, because he pooped out what looked like hair algae and some got stuck for a bit and trailed around him! Yay!

And yes, I am sure this was algae and not worms. I tried snapping pics but was too slow!

Night before last, last night, and tonight I have had the dubious pleasure of seeing my Top Shelf RBTA take a long stringy dump in my 60 gallon cube. I'm fairly new to anemones, so the first time I saw this I thought my uber expensive 'nem had been injured or was dying the way it/he/she shriveled up......didn't realize it was pinching a loaf.

I don't even feed my 'nems directly.....they get Rod's out of the water column.

My magenta BTA in the same tank joined in the fun last night. Syncronized pooping, who'd a thought?

It was a scatalogical free for all in Anemone-land.:D

My fish play the poop game during feeding and trick my flame angel into eating it. Thanks Jason for trading me a fish that literally eats anything. That thing is too fat

My firefish hadn't eaten for a week and then scared itself when it pooped the other night.
