I have had a Potters angelf for about two weeks. He is getting thin. He pecks at the LR a lot but does not eat when food is introduced to the tank. Any suggestions?

Was he eating before you brought him home? They can be a bit picky at first. If he's pecking on the rocks, he is "eating"... but if he's getting thin, he is either not eating enough, or he might have intestinal parasites. That doesn't happen too often with angels in my experience, but it is a possibility.

What size tank is he in, and what are his tank-mates? Any aggression from others?

And yes, what foods are you offering?

I have given ocean nutrition pellets, brine shrimp, frozen ocen nutrition veggie formula, freeze dried blood worms, flakes, and shrimp pellets. Every once and a while he will pick at a small debris of flake.

He is in a 30 gallon with a yellow choris wrasse and a clown fish. There does not seem to be any aggression, but the other older tankmates eat the food in a hurry.

Couple of things to try...

Pellets aren't always great to start with because it doesn't "look" much like what they'd find in the wild. Frozen foods are usually a bit more appealing. You can try adding some Garlic Guard or Entice to the foods, both have strong scents that seem to initiate a feeding response. The garlic also boosts the immune system. Entice smells like bananas, and for whatever reason, it seems to work really well too. I'd probably suggest starting with a bit of Garlic Guard and see if that helps.
