I have a 75 gallon tank. I currently have a 1500 gph power head in there which is blowing everything over. I just went out and but one that does like 900 gph. Any suggestions on what else I should out in there. Should I take out the 1500?

I think we need more information. The powerhead might not be the problem. It could be placed in a spot that is causing issues. Do you have any photos? 1500gph in a 75 is a little on the high side, but not by much. I have two 2100gph powerheads in my 120 (same length).

I dabble in sarcasm.

What kind of substrate is that? It may be too light for that much flow. I have an MP10 on my 30 gallon cube and on full blast it hardly makes a dent on the opposite side of my tank.

Black live sand not sure on the brand.

I have one of these in my 20gal. I really like it. They have different power strengths as well.
