great I will check it out. Question...I just put got my water stabilized at the right specific gravity but the temperature is only 65 degrees...I have not bought lights yet....can i add my sand now?

S.G. may change a bit from 65 degrees to 78 degrees. You're not relying on the lights for heating, are you?

I see you asking a lot of questions that are the ones new people ask...Thats great as all will help but I would strongly recommend getting the book..The Conscientious Marine Aquarist. It has a lot of information...asking the simple questions might get you an answer but in the context of what you are wanting to do overall might not always be the right long term answer....here is a link...http://www.amazon.com/Conscientious-Marine-Aquarist-Commonsense-Professional/dp/1890087998/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1268004034&sr=8-1">http://www.amazon.com/Conscientious-Marine-Aquarist-Commonsense-Professional/dp/1890087998/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1268004034&sr=8-1</a>

I will promise if you follow bob fenner's advice you will save yourself a lot of heartache and dollar....

By the way Dawg (Charlie) is right on the power head advice...
