power outage now clown is missing

the power went out for about an hour or so because the storm it came back on now one of my clowns is missing and their always together he never hides very weird i know 1 hour without circulation wouldnt kill fish could it? i searched around the tank to see if maybe he jumped out im still trying to figure out what happened to him

I'll bet he is just freaked out.

Just to be safe make sure the top of the water is agitated good for a while

yea it came back on about 15 minutes ago thats how i know hes missing i turned the lights back on to try and find him hes nowhere to be seen

Check behind the tank in case he went carpet surfing. Hope that's not the case, but it will solve the missing part.

If you have an overflow, check in there! My clowns like to take the jump once a week back there! Such. a. pain.

nah this morning i checked everything sump,overflow box behind rocks hes nowhere

i have a giant cup mushroom coral that could possibly eat fish but ive had the mushroom for 5 months and the clownfish for 7 months and hes never bothered any of my fish i feed him weekly

Edit: thats the only other idea i can come up with maybe he was eatin or attacked the inverts got him

id bet 100 bucks hes in the overflow...ive had at least 4 similar situations where i thought they were gone for good...then the rational part of my brain kicks in again and i do another search...theyve all been in the overflow except for one who went carpet surfing...needless to say ive made it where they can get into neither now

yea it couldnt swallow the whole fish it just spit out what was left real gross smelled god awful

well i took this out of my tank i dont know what to do with it i may go to warehouse aquarium and try to get some store credit maybe if they will take it, this thing ate on of my pajama cardinals last night what would make him lay dorment for 5 months then all of go blood thirsty
