Powerhead during cycle?

My 90g is finally up and running. Just waiting on it to cycle. Have not plugged in the skimmer or added the powerheads yet. Should I be running powerheads now? I was planning on waiting until I was ready to add coral but I saw a post yesterday stating that the Vortechs were about to have a price increase.

So is it OK to wait a few months or should I act now?

I don't think it matters as long as the water isn't stagnant. However, ask yourself this: Would there be any downside</em> to running them now? (Hint: No)

As long as you have the return pump going, that's enough. No need on wasting power even though power heads don't use a lot.
