Getting all the things lined up for my setup of the Oceanic 29 Biocube. Now I've been reefing for quite sometime but I've always placed my power heads on the glass with magnet placed on the outside of the tank. Question is I want to place my power heads on the back wall of the biocube, will I be able to place the connecting magnet inside the water without any adverse side effects on the tanks water? It will be a Koralia type magnet, all help is appreciated thank you! If I can't put the magnet in the water what would be another solution to place the powerhead on the back wall?

Awesome thank you for the input, the magnet will be fully submerged. I just don't want anything leaking in the tank that could possibly be bad.

Awesome thank you I can now be at ease placing two power heads on the back wall thank you.

Placing the powerhead inside the tank works best for me!

heheheh!

Shouldn't have a problem, may want to check them every now and again to make sure that the sealant isn't scratched ( never happened to me, but read the possibility of it about it happening on RC, and I think something happened at the Live Aquaria facility a while back)

Appreciate that sewer will be putting the power heads straight on the back of the tank wall, much cleaner look IMO and will be better for water flow. I will have a Koralia 425 and the Aqueon 500 which doesn't use a magnet, will place both at the back wall now to decide where to point them lol. Will have a MJ1200 as my return pump as well so I feel like I will have plenty enough flow.
