Powerhead suggestions!

it does.. thanks alot.. so 30x volume i should just get cause it cant hurt to get too much right?
 
I like the tunze nanos. You can mod the 6025's easily. They are much nicer and smaller than the koralia's. THe magnets are uber strong too (they work on my 3/4" glass).

IMO, spend the extra cash and go with Tunzes; Roger's service after the sale is worth the extra money.
 
what do you mean when you say maxi jet mods!? and if ya'll buy online which websites do you prefer?

Test kits
API is fine for most things to test with a few exceptions.

For mag, nitrates, I would use either Salifert or Elos
For phosphates (down the road a bit), I would use DD Merck, Hach, Colormeter, and maybe Elos.

For Salinity use a refractormeter that has been calibrated to pinpoint Salinity solution. Using RO water is not accurate enough.

Power heads to start off with. go with the Koralias. I used to have them, and they worked fine.
