How strong is too strong using water and vinegar? Was planning on 3:1

citric acid is safer than vinegar.Vinegar can cause problems with some pumps/wave makers. I use 3/4 cup citric acid to a gallon of ro water.

Is there a place to buy larger quantities locally, or do you have to mail order it? I can only find small amounts at places like Kroger.

Amazon FTW. Big cheap bags of 5 or 10 pounds citric acid. And yes, so much better than vinegar (if only from smell standpoint).

And R2R had a series of stickies noting that something in vinegar can damage plastic, whereas citric acid does not.

If you order before noon, Duda Diesel usually gets the order out & often delivered the next day. They are in north Alabama.
