I Got 4 of the sureflows yesterday, The one i hooked up has a little noise to it. I beleive the porpeller is hiting the anti reverse stop slightly. It is a easy fix but...
Anyone eles notice noise?

The flow seems about the same as the Hydor K4 ives used. if i sand 1/32" off the stop or prop shaft it should be quiet.

if you sand the stop, you run the chance of it starting in reverse.

The stop is about 3/8" tall. It only has to be 1/8" to stop a reverse spin. 1/32" leaves it taller than 5/16". They really came with some tight tolerance's. (to tight on some)

are you running these on a wavemaker? I mean its plastic on plastic, its always going to make noise. Now if there were a little piece of rubber on those stoppers, now were talkin

The noise i hear is not a start up noise, as a mater of fact these don't hardly have any startup noise(compared to other mods and hydor's). I mean while it running i hear a little noise that seems to be the prop barely hitting the stopper. At least that is what i think the noise is comming from.

hmm cant help you on that one. Mine dont make any noise while running.
