I just call my uncle in Vietnam. Who been into reef keeping for more that 30 years . Asking about all of my fish death except my pair clown still alive and look heathy. He told me the only reason he can think is somehow my anemone release toxin into water and wipe out all of my fish in short of period time, except clown because the clown fish is immunate to the poison toxin of the anemone. This is really make sense to me. What you guys think? It's truth?

Can someone give me the better explain. Why my pair clown still alive. Beside all of my fish death just in 7hrs of period time?

Did the anemone die? If not, then that isn't possible. Anemones can STING but not "release toxins".

I still think it was either an airborne toxin, or one introduced to the tank (hands, etc.) or a low oxygen issue.

BTW -have you had an exterminator or cleaning service in the house lately? (IE the day it happened?)

Clowns are very hardy and often survive adverse conditions that other, more fragile fish can't tolerate.

Hi Jenn. How about my Damsel and 2 green Chromis. They are the first three fish in the tank. They also death at the same time. My Ritteri anemone moving around alittle bit. Other than that Everything good.

Again, very small (low O2 demand) fish are more likely to survive if the environment is compromised, and damsels and chromis are generally a lot hardier than the fish you lost.
