Problems with mysaltwaterfishstore.com?

So I ordered a massive clean up crew for my tank from these guys, and the Jason Fox(I guess the owner operator) recommend I go with 2 day shipping.

Well my order arrive during the snow storm and 50% of my order was dead on arrival and 45% died the next day.

I emailed Jason about it and he said he would take care of it and that was the last I heard from him and its been well over a month now and Im pretty pissed off.

Is there any other way to contact anyone there besides their webmail on the site?

Far as I know hes a respectable business man- it DID get really really really cold in some parts of the country and that snowstorm was a bad time to be ordering anythi g online ( not saying its your fault at all but im not suprised about the loss)

I would try emailing him again w the order number and pics of the dead livestock.

I have emailed him at least 15 times since I got my order. I have replied to the emails he sent me, sent new ones from the contact page on the site and even sent messages through the site using my account.

My last contact with him occurred on Jan 24th.

Im not surprised either, but I was told he would replace the dead livestock and to email him back with a list of the dead. After that nothing.

hmm not 5 minutes after I file a dispute with paypal my order status has been changed to refunded, and yet no money has been refunded to my account yet.

Anyone got another site good for clean up crews? Im looking for stuff like 150 blue legs, 100 astreas, 20 peppermints, 20 emeralds and so on.

I have always been a fan of reef cleaners becasue prices are good and they ususlly send almost twice what is ordered but...just checked ccriters.com and thier prices are the best I have seen.

And i'v not had issues with Doa claims my last took about 24hours to be processed from the time I sent my email but i have herd a lot of stories about them having bad customer service

I've found better deals at LFS than online by asking for CUC specials.

I don't think they can do that without the actually transmission... It may be in processing.

its like pulling teeth to get a decent deal at my local lfs on ANY livestock. I shop alot online and drive to other towns for the majority of my business. R2g has been great espicially when they run specials. If im paying for shipping already if its not free, I go ahead and spend more than I would normally and get what I want while im ordering to save money in the long run.

Guy from Mysaltwaterfishstore called me last nigh about sending a replacement order but I missed it and now cant get him on the phone.

I just want my critters so I can turn my lights back on

reeftopia.com and reefcleaners.org are two of my favorites. I would feel comfortable recommending either one of these sites.

Well finally got him on the phone and he apologized and is sending me a complete replacement order.

Still never ordering from them again but at least hes making it right.

Honestly I love that place. It must of been the bad weather I guess. I've orderd a couple of packages from then and their might be 1or 2 snails dead but it was a great deal.they also have really nice tangs and seahorses. And Jason is a very nice guy. I believe that's a family owned business.

Well see what arrives alive this time, but honestly I would never deal with any company that has such crappy communication.

A day or two or even three I get, but I never got a reply to anything in under a week.

Reef2reef did this same thing to me and its been a mth and still no luck.

I asked the owner ( saltwaterfishstore) some questions and he got back to me in about 1-2 days. Mabye he's just been really busy.

I honestly could care less what his excuse is. A month of no contact after an entire shipment dies is not acceptable.
