Contrary to what the Beach Boy's think, not all vibrations are good. I would like to cushion my return pump and skimmer before plumbing them in. I have heard in the past that mouse pads work great but is there a way to tell which are reef safe? Any other ideas?

I have anti-vibration pads in stock. Specifically *for* use in sumps.

They sell foam sheets at every craft store as well as walmart that will do the job as well. Shouldn't run you more than $2-3.

i wrapped egg crate in filter floss and set my pump on that. i did this because im both cheap and lazy

Good ideas but then I have to buy filter floss or go to a craft store. I would much rather go to a fish store. :-) Jenn, when you get to the store tomorrow, shoot me size, price and how many you have on hand please. Also, did you remember to order that Mag kit we talked about?

I'm at the store now (yeah, I know...) PM coming...

You really need to take a day off once in a while. LOL No wonder you are always so cranky. (something tells me there is a shoe headed my way along with that PM).

I even got myself more than 50 miles away from the store. How 'bout that?

PMs answered - I have 2 like that in stock.

I found a silicone trivet/hot pad at target that worked well. It was with the dish towels. It was flat on one side and had little bumps on the other.
