HOW ON EARTH HAVE I NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE?!?!?

I thought I had been there, but pulling in I immediately realized I hadn't. Then walking through the door, OMG, I was absolutely amazed.

I don't know that I've seen a store this packed with large and gorgeous fish AND corals AND supplies in the ATL area.

I went up to pick up some "Larry's Reef Frenzy", but spent over an hour just gawking at everything in the store. Met Jorge (George?) and a few other people. Absolutely wonderful people and a great store. They had JUST received the Reef Frenzy foods and had not even added it to stock, but they were kind enough to sell me a pack.

While this was my first visit, it certainly won't be my last. VERY impressive store.

I went by there the other day for the first time but they were closed...... stared through the window for at least 15 minutes.... I wanted in bad

Personally never have been before, but have heard nothing but good things. Def on my must visit list!

But when the kids are in there, they treat them just like family. Where a lot of stores don't like the kids being there.

Yup, one of my top three to be sure. Got to love it when the owners son sees you walk in after a 4 or 5 month gap and the first thing he asks you is about something you talked about the last time you were there. :-)

Edit: Wait, does that mean I am hard to forget? Is that a good thing or a bad thing????

This is the only store that I have visited in Atlanta. I live so far away from Atlanta that I haven't been able to see what Atlanta offers in reef stores. I got in the Power Buy for salt with ARC some months past and the pickup place was here. Hobby funds were low at the time of my visit, but that didn't seem to matter to the employees.

An exceptional staff willing to answer any of my questions with no pressure to buy any products at all. I did happen to purchase a magnesium test kit while I was there. I would have spent more money if the funds weren't limit. One of the employees actually loaded the bags of salt in my vehicle.

Top notch reef store with outstanding customer service and a great selection of salt water fish as well as corals. A great selection of products for reef maintenace is also available. I do not believe you will be disappointed with your visit to this top notch reef store.

I bought my first coral from them. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Just wish I didn't have Tuesdays off.

I agree about the NICEST in GA!! They are all VERY knowledgable also! Ask them and they know how to fix it!

kinda reminds me of the old Marine Fish from several years back when they were under their second ownership when they were on johnson ferry. having said that I believe jorge maybe close to topping even that store just wish he wasn't nearly 2 hours away and that is a long way to drive just to drool

+1

They are always so patient with my 4 year old daughter and her millions of questions. Matt always gets a star out for her to touch.

I enjoyed reading all these great stories..I was there last August n made the hour drive to see it...I m in lawrenceville so Alpharetta is bit far...we brought our sump n jorge offered to drill it to fit the correct bulkhead! The staff is so sweet, knowledable , I went gaga and had my mouth dropped opened the whole time inside...we were there for over 2 hrs, I can even live there....my ankle severely sprained n on wheelchair, but I will go back n spend some $$$ when I can walk! Whenever that is:'( I love this store

Jorge store is immaculate to say the least. IMO his stuff looks the healthiest. Top notch and great customer service. Jorge personally helped me fix a skimmer I had and was basically done free. I highly recommend Pure Reef to anyone. They are a step above. Stop by and see for yourself.

George and his son (Matt I believe) are really cool and knowledgeable as well as their staff. Always very helpful and laid back. Their collection is really impressive and top quality and every time i go there I end up staying a couple of hours.
