Quick question: my bicolor blenny has been turning white when the lights go off then back to blue and yellow when they come on... is this normal

I had an azure damsel and several fresh water fish that did the same thing, it's like they lost all of their color when they slept

Exactly he found a tiny hole and he sticks his head out and waves like and eel but I thought he was dead sk I went to get him out and he scared the crap out of me. Lol

Yeah first time I noticed that was with my fresh water Angels early one morning, I thought they were dying lol

Most blennys (blennies?) change color at night. Some get darker like my Flame tail. Some get lighter. Both my Midas and Tail spot get brown stripes on their faces. Blennies are one of my favorite species of SW fish.
