To everyone who is getting chaeto:

I would advise treating this like a coral. Parasites and pests can transfer from chaeto exchanges.

With this being said, what are some good ways to make sure your chaeto is pest free? Can chaeto live through dips with coral rx, melafix and other preventative treatments?

I know that interceptor shouldn't be a problem.

I've used coral ex on it with out much problem. I dip it then go peace by peace looking for eggs worms crabs and stars that's about all I have found in them in the past
I use a hobby light with magnifying lynse best bet is to qt it like a fish 10gal tank near a window for light small powerhead and heater add a few senking pellets after a day or two and watch if enything comes out
