I got some aging in DT for QT, I know don't use Prime with copper will anything else work if spikes in ammonia occur??

Both will work fine, I prefer matrix on a bag. I use biospira and water changes if I see any spikes.

Does Matrix absorb copper or make it any less potent and can it be reused or will it retain copper??

I use matrix in a bag also, doesn't seem to absorb copper.
