I purchased a 4' Sunlight Supply New Wave T5 8 Bulb fixture from Tim a few weeks ago. I had a feeling something was missing but I couldn't quite put my finger on it at the time. I was looking and looking and finally realized what it was, it didn't have any switches to control the bulbs. :doh:Is there anyway I would be able to wire in some switches to control certain lights? If not, I believe this fixture may be up for sale very soon.

How many ballasts does it have?

PM Rockdog, he can hook you up in no time...

Dude, bring it over one day. We will take it apart, and break it so that is not worth a ****...

On a serious note. I bet we can rig up some switches for each ballast, or something.

How many power cords does it have? If more than one, you might be able to pick up some timers cheap at the meeting (*cough*hint*cough*) and just let the timers run it, no need for switches.

Chris, I'll swing it by one day this week for you to look at.

Au01st, it only has one cord.

Well we might be able to get power to it with two cords if it has two ballasts. I assume it does. It probably has four ballasts, but that will only mnake it slightly more complicated.

Electricity scares the piss out of me. I'll bring the beer and light.:D

Wed works. I know. I would go with a power plug rather than a switch. It should not be too hard, but you never know...
