Depends on the coral, but for most I had the don't feed them approach in the end. With a reasonable fish load, there will be plenty of nutrients in the water column for most corals to thrive. Adding more food into a tank often causes more problems and inhibits growth. Some corals do need to be hand fed but that list is relatively small.
