Ok, this is a weird question. I have a mix of several (10-15) nerite and nassarius snails in my 14 gallon tank (I am currently cycling a new 75 gallon to move them to in a few weeks). Anyway, in the 14 gallon, I have 2 sexy shrimp. This morning, I found one of my sexy shrimp - literally - smashed in between two of the nassarius snails. The snails slime was covering my shrimp and he ended up dying before I could get to him. I can't imagine it is so, but are any snails predators to sexy shrimp, or was this just a coincidence? My shrimp live on a small anemone and rarely venture off of it. The shrimp that died was about a foot away in the sand; he is NEVER that far away. Thank you for the advice!
