Question about the control of a chiller

So I purchased an Aquanetics chiller that used an external controller. For whatever reason, the controller went bad. Of course Aquanetics is no longer in business. So here's my question, can't I just wire in a Ranco or some other type controller that would do the same thing?

Yes. However you need to make sure the chiller is wired to always on. PM me if you need more info.

I have two units and the built in stuff went down years ago.
I been using External controllers . It was easy to bypass the relay, though i don't remember doing.

If your using an external controller it is hardwired on and just to plug into anther one.
There is no reason to wire in.
Maybe I don't understand.
