Hello,

What would you use to reduce a 1/2" O.D. vinyl hose down so that I could connect an RO line to it? Where to buy it?

Application:

I have an osmolator (thank you kind sir) that I want run the top-off resorvior from outside storage to inside the appartment. The osmolator metering pump will fit the vinyl tubing listed above, but I need to reduce it down to the size of an RO line, to make the hole that I put in the apartment wall as small as possible.

LMK, and thank you in advance.

Scott

There are john guest adapters in the HD or Lowes plumbing section that you can use to reduce the tubing. You may need to go 1/2 to 3/8 to 1/4... can remember if they had a 1/2 to 1/4.

Go to HD and see someone in the plumbing department. You should be able to find the right pieces. Just went through a similar process. They pretty much handed me what I needed.

Thats what I had in my mind I needed, but not sure what it was called. Thank you.

if they dont have that piece they have other pieces you can screw into eachother and make it work. I was determined to get mine done the day i set out to accomplish the same task and it too 4 different pieces, a lot of plumbers tape, and way more money that it should have but I got it done!
