Questions about auctions an end time

Probably the wrong place to post this, but had a quick question. If an auction ends at 9:35 PM, does it end at 9:35:59 or 9:34:59?

I’m guessing this is already been hashed out in the past, couldn’t find it though.

If you follow ebay rules it is 09:35:00 so any bids pass that are out.

You can take bids up till 9:34:59
