Hey folks getting ready to glue some rocks. I bought some "'JB Water Weld" at HD but threw the package away. I am pretty sure I have used it before but it says "Caution Irritant" on the front of the tube. Just want to make sure..... Thanks in advance.

They are required by law to provide an MSD sheet (material safety data). Check their website.

I've used it in running tanks no problem. Keep an eye on your skimmer. Epoxy can make it overfoam.

Yeah, if it's not cured. It can release filler which a lot of times is pure silica. Not good!!! Epoxy is Epon based with filler like metallic particles, silica or talc...etc. JB weld is metallic, hence it's great rigidity and thermal abilities. Most two part epoxies have silica or talc to promote adhesion and flexibility. All fillers become encased once cured. 100% safe against leaching or adsorption. You should ALWAYS MIX THOROUGHLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Change mixing sticks, mixing surface, gloves or whatever touches the unmixed epoxy many times. I usually go through several pairs of gloves just mixing a small amount. If any unmixed epoxy is exposed, it will cause problems. That is all...
