Quick Question On ATI Lights...

Are these the best or near the best T5 lights that you can get? I know it is subjective but just want opinions especially if you run them or have run them in the past. Below are the ones I am thinking / talking about. Thanks!

Those are sweet but ati has a new powermodule that should be out soon. Think it's going to be pretty pricey but some really cool features.

Racin if I read that right it will be an LED light. I have AI SOL Blues now but thinking about a change.

ATI Sun Power are a step down from the ATI Power Modules. ATI PM's are arguably the best T5 fixtures money can buy.

Edit: That hybrid T5 Powermodule with LEDs looks awesome. It may be on my 'list'. =)

I have the Ati 10 bulb power module and it is a bad mother

OK so is the new one coming out a combo of T5 and LED? I will read it again but I thought it was just LED.

It's a combo T5 & LED. Which is a 'best of both worlds' scenario in my opinion. These T5's have ridiculous penetration & PAR, and the LEDs will allow you to tweak the color and add shimmer.

Yeah there a combo and are going to be sweet. But time will tell how much they are going to cost!! Not going to be cheap and you still will have bulb replacements. That's the price you pay!!

Darren, I am running a 10 bulb ATI Powermodule (non-dimmable) fixture on my system. The ATI fixtures are fantastic and very reliable. I may upgrade to this T5/LED combo when it becomes available

I see you took your Solana down. I set mine up using the MM LED and never could get use to the look. Even after seeing other LED systems I was just not sure if LEDs where there yet. So I decided to go back to a T5 and went with the 4x24 ATI Sun Power and love it. I'm thinking about adding some LED for shimer etc. I saw where some one had done that to their ATI on RC.

Dough yes the Solana is down. Replaced it with a Deep Blue 60 Cube (needed more space and wanted a sump). I reused the SOL Blues and it looks nice. Just not sure I am getting the growth that I should...

Well, my acans are no longer orange!

Yes I have the same issue. My red acan turned orange but it actually made an improvement. My other acan is just washed out looking.... My Mummy eye chalice has an orange / yellow look to it also...
