Thinking of putting together a 10 or 20 gallon QT tank for corals.
mainly, Mushrooms, Zoa. pods, Soft corals, Brain, ?
Looking at
Tank
Heater, Hang on filter
Light?? 60 -150 watt Plant grow light
I am wondering if a 60 ww plant grow light with full spectrum will work good enough for 7-10 days while in the tank?
Trying to keep it as inexpensive and safe as possible.

The easy answer is yes a full spectrum light will keep them alive for a couple weeks. The long answer is that it will not promote growth but for me...... That is just what I would do.

Many people just dip corals but the people who have been doing this a long time will tell you QT is best. It gives you the opportunity to see if anything springs up that may be difficult to get address once it is in your display tank. For instance, the scolly in my avatar has an aptasia on it. It would be much easier for me to zap it if it were in a QT but now I have to deal with it in my display tank.
