Just upgraded from gen 1 to pros and won't look back. The corals have responded nicely to the added uv lights and other colors. Time will tell but so far I'm lovin the pros.

yea the pros look awesome i have a friend who has 2 over his 150 and it looks awesome. and his gbta's are nice and bubbly and they would never bubble under his vho's that he had before

We have one over our zero edge tank and it is absolutely superior to the previous generations.

In what way?

This makes me want to upgrade my two Radion G1s with TIRs to the Pros. I have these over my 100 gallon mixed cube tank, and frankly, I have been very satisfied with the colors of LPS and soft corals under them. It has always been some SPS that don't color up to their full potential under Radions.

This is my experience only, but most montipora, stylophora, seratiopora, and pocillopora all do great colorwise under Radions, as good as any coloration under halides I have ever seen. It is mainly acropora and millepora species that I have seen that don't color up as well as they do under halides.

Uv was one of the main reasons I went for the mazarra p over the original radion (not having a clue as to how a DIY fixture worked). Mine only have 2 uv leds per unit. About to add a 3rd to each. I would love to see the new radion pro one of these days.
