radion xr30 gen2 or radion pro?

I've seen the MM, Ecorays, Panoramas, and AIs as well as the new Maxspect Razor. I like the Radions best, not only because I like the easy programming and custom colors, but I feel like I get plenty of power from them. I'm using two over my 58 gallon. These are by far not the cheapest lights out there and I'm sure that you can probably do just fine with LEDs half the price of the Radions but I'm happy with them. I would like to upgrade to the Pros one day but at the price they are right now that's not very likely.

Hey is there a way to program more than 1 schedule during the week...say I wanted to have thunders storms on Wednesday and maybe a cloudy day or two during the week.. Would I have to change my light schedule on those particular days?

I have a total of 4 radions. 2 gen 1 and 2 gen 2. I will tell you that the gen 2 blow the gen 1 out of the water. Keeep in mind that these light are upgradeable and Ecotech now has a program to upgrade all models to either the gen 2 or pro. So if you have a gen 1 you can upgrade to either one for an additoinal cost. To upgrade to gen 2 its $150. To go to the pro its $300. That's one of the great things about these lights....they are fully upgradable. As they improve their technology and they will certainly do that.....you can improve with them. This beats going out and buying a new light as technology improves. The pro's area absolutely amazing and I will be upgrading to thoses shortly. I agree that the gen 1 light was not that impressive but it wasn't that bad as either. Also the Ecotech radion lights are just over a year old. They will continue to get better!
