Im excited to see the outcome. What are you going to do with the finished livestock?
Thanks! If I ever get any where with them I will post for sale! Years back I was breeding clowns and cardinals as well. There were a lot of my offspring in club members tanks back then! Hoping I have some success again!

I lost one of the Tail Spot Blennies. I'm not sure if it was attacked and killed by a tank mate but it was the smallest of the group. They seem to have staked out their own territories in the tank, one in each corner. I am watching to make sure that they are not too aggressive. The three remaining ones are all about the same size. Hard to tell yet if any are bonding. May have to try moving them around to see which tolerate each other. This is one of the hardest parts of getting them to spawn, finding two that won't kill each other!

Time to build some new tops for the brood stock tanks!

anytime you want just let me know. I've got plenty of screening.

Newest additions to the breeding system. Kamohara Blennies and Green-banded Gobies. Just about finished with stocking for awhile. Now just need to wine and dine them, and maybe some Barry White. Pics forthcoming

Some better shots of the green banded gobies. They are only about 3/4 of an inch right now. But still feisty!

Finally started up the rotifer cultures again. Almost ready to start with some larvae! If anyone has some clowns spawning and would like me to collect them and try to hatch let me know! My pairs likely won’t be spawning for awhile!

Any updates? Any Naked Clowns in the patch of babies? Thanks Bobz for all your hard work. It’s not an easy tasking to breed clowns. Especially when your attempts are not in an ocean setting.

It’s been awhile. Things going slower than I hoped. Still working on the setup and waiting for the pairs to start spawning. Some clowns take a couple of years to reach spawning age. It’s basically a waiting game. It looks like the cardinals have spawned several times but so far none have gone to full term. Again, it takes them a few times to mature. Green-banded gobies look like they are ready to spawn but so far I can’t find any egg clutches. Maybe soon! I think I lost one of my yasha gobies. Haven’t seen it come out of the burrow in awhile.
