Random pic of the day thread

Had this Aussie elegance for 6 weeks now still doing well i read a lot of people had them die on them after a few weeks
Nice! I saw a gold tipped one at Nemo the other week but showed restraint. Kudos to me.
My aqua-cultured one is still doing well but just looks like crap compared to the wild ones...looks kind of like a mauled monkey hand. Nothing good happens when you chase things in poker or coral, lol.
 
i added some coral into my tank yesterday and removed a dead brain coral my rabbit fish made a feast out of and i found this little guy in the bucket today with the dead coral and bags of water from the new coral wondering if its good or bad keeping him in this bowl til i figure it out

Here are a few corals I picked up over the weekend that I’m excited about. One pic is a crocodile hunter favia, and the other is a pink-tipped octospawn and Mayan sun favia. Seem to be doing well so far! Will post more/better pics once they acclimate.
