Random pic of the day thread

it's mostly DIY - nothing difficult if you are comfortable with Linux systems.

My biggest peeve with any of the controllers on the market is the companies deciding how to show me my tanks data and how long I can see my history.

With this - I can present my data in any way I would like, I can keep it for as long as I want. And I can use any reporting or alerting tooling or system I want.

You ever have those Apex alarms messing with you over and over and over non stop every minute - and until you are really used to them you have no idea what the alarm is for?

If you look at the image above on the Aquarium Temperature chart you'll see a couple veritcal lines - red & green. That is showing me when that metric went in to an alarm state.

The colors up top also change based on where the measurement is as well. Alk out of range? it shows up as red. And I can set those thresh holds to anything I want.

Kind of nit picking on my part - but it's what I'm comfortable with and what I want - it pleases me that I finally have it working without crazy hacks and flinging exported data all over the place to achieve it.

This guys has been with us for 2 or 3 years at least. Never caused any problems, just roams around and does his job.

Now I just need to get some dirtier sand in this refugium for him.
