Couple of weeks ago one of my lettuce sea slugs laid eggs. I thought no way in hell any would survive. I didn’t even know they were viable until it laid a second clutch & I looked at them under the microscope. Then this morning I get home from a haircut and see a little blob floating around the tank. Sure enough… It’s a baby sea slug. Then I keep looking and find a second one right at the waterline. There must be dozens more. This hobby is so f’ing cool!

It’s so tiny! I loved finding lettuce leaf sea slugs while I was living on Roatan. So many different color combos, one time I found one that had green, yellow, and purple.

That’s so cool. I can’t imagine being able to see them in the wild. And yes super, super tiny. I’d say about 3-4mm long. Fingers crossed they continue to grow. 🤞🏼
