Just had to piggyback on the Sexy Shrimp pic. Was doing some maintenance last night and found this guy in my AIO return chamber. The things he had to survive to make it to this chamber… obstacle course of death. The way these guys find themselves in less than ideal situations never ceases to amaze me. Been trying to catch him since then, and no luck so far.
Mine did that recently, but didn’t have to avoid any obstacles into anything but the first chamber. Even my little shrimp net was too big to fit flush against the back, so it was a bit tricky to catch it.
And when I was changing the floss out a few nights ago, one of them was stuck to it. I’m glad I noticed and got it back into my tank instead of thrown away with the old floss. I’m down to 5 from 6, so I’m wondering if that’s what happened to the missing one
I think my trochus snails successfully reproduced! I haven’t added any of these types of snails to my 40b since setting it up. And I most certainly didn’t add one that’s barely bigger than the amphipods in there. All the others in there are 1”+. Gotta love what you can find at night with a flashlight

@Jikkermanccini I just share because I have a camera capable of showing detail not everyone else would be able to see. And quite a bit of free-time in the evenings when I don’t have my daughter. It’s not for competition and I hope it doesn’t intimidate others to share their pictures.
